Dear Parents and Potential 2009 Graduates,
In order to enjoy a positive graduation ceremony, we have established some guidelines to help create a ceremony that has the appropriate atmosphere and decorum to properly honor our graduates, school, and community.
The graduation ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2009, at Palmdale High School’s Riewer Field. The stadium gates will open promptly at 5 p.m. Guests entering the stadium, NOT including children under 2 years old, are required to have an admission ticket.
Tickets are given to each senior at Senior Check out on May 21/May 22, 2009. Please do not contact the school asking for additional tickets as we have limited seating and there are no extra tickets available.
Seating for guests requiring special accommodations is available. If special accommodations are needed, please RSVP at 273-3181, ext. 158 by May 23, 2009. Only one person is permitted to accompany individuals needing special seating.
Inappropriate or disruptive behavior during the ceremony detracts from the program and is prohibited. Spectators are not permitted on the field at any time. Please plan on taking pictures and giving flowers, gift, etc. to graduates after the ceremony as students are not permitted to carry any items onto the field. Upon completion of the ceremony students will proceed to the parking lot for reunion with families and friends.

May 7th 6 pm Senior Awards Ceremony (Cafeteria)
May 18th – May 19th Senior Text Book & Library Book Returns to Library
May 18th – May 20th Final Exams for Seniors
May 21st and 22nd, Senior Check Out (Grads will pick up their Cap and Gowns and Graduation Tickets)
May 26th , 8 am Senior Assembly
May 27th, 28th, 29th 8 am to Noon Graduation Practices ( meet in the big gym)
May 28th, Grad Nite (Seniors will board buses for Disneyland at 8:45 p.m. Buses will return to PHS Friday morning, at approximately 8:00 a.m.)
May 29th, Graduation Ceremonies, 6 pm in the Riewer Field
